FAQs
Anti-Wrinkle Treatments (Neurotoxins)
What are neurotoxins?
Neurotoxins (also called neuromodulators) are injectable medications that temporarily relax targeted facial muscles. By softening repetitive movement, they reduce the appearance of expression lines and help prevent new lines from forming.
What areas can be treated?
Common areas include the forehead, frown lines (“11s”), crow’s feet, and other expression-related lines. Some patients may also benefit from treatment in the chin, jawline, or neck depending on goals and anatomy.
How long do results take to show?
You’ll usually start noticing results in 3–5 days, with full effect at about 2 weeks.
How long do neurotoxins last?
Most patients enjoy results for 3–4 months. Longevity varies depending on metabolism, muscle strength, lifestyle, and the area treated.
Will I look frozen or unnatural?
Our approach is subtle and tailored. The goal is to soften lines while keeping your expression natural. You’ll still look like you — just more refreshed.
Does it hurt?
Most patients describe the feeling as a quick pinch. Treatment is fast, and discomfort is minimal. We can use comfort measures if needed.
Is there downtime?
Downtime is minimal. You may have small bumps or redness for 20–30 minutes. Most people return to normal activities right away.
Are neurotoxins safe?
Yes, when performed by a trained medical professional. Neurotoxins have a long safety history in both medical and cosmetic use. We do a full assessment to ensure treatment is appropriate for you.
Who should not get neurotoxins?
Neurotoxins are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for individuals with certain neuromuscular conditions. We review your medical history thoroughly before treatment.
How often should I get treated?
Most patients book treatments every 3–4 months. Some prefer less frequent maintenance, depending on goals.
Dermal Fillers
What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are gel-based injectable treatments used to restore volume, enhance contours, and soften lines. Most fillers are made with hyaluronic acid, which naturally occurs in the body and supports hydration.
What areas can fillers treat?
Fillers can be used for lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, smile lines, marionette lines, under-eye hollows, and overall facial balancing. Your plan is customized to your anatomy and goals.
How much filler will I need?
Filler is measured in syringes (usually 1 mL each). Many patients start with 0.5–1 syringe in one area, while structural or full-face balancing may require more. We’ll discuss your recommended range before treatment.
When will I see results?
Results are visible immediately, with final settling over 1–2 weeks as swelling resolves and the product integrates.
How long do fillers last?
Depending on the product and area treated, fillers typically last 6–18 months. Areas with stronger movement (like lips) may metabolize faster.
Will filler make me look overdone?
Not here. We focus on balanced, natural enhancement. Our style is conservative and designed to complement your features.
Does filler hurt?
Most fillers contain lidocaine for comfort. You may feel pressure or a slight pinch, but treatment is generally well tolerated. Numbing options are available.
Is there downtime?
You may have swelling, tenderness, or bruising for a few days. Most patients return to work and daily life the same or next day.
Are fillers safe?
Yes, when performed by an experienced injector using approved products and safe technique. We follow medical protocols, thorough assessment, and emergency readiness.
What are the risks?
Common risks include swelling, bruising, and temporary asymmetry. Rare risks include vascular complications. We review all risks during your consult and provide clear aftercare instructions.
Who should not get fillers?
Fillers are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have an active infection or cold sore in the treatment area. We’ll assess your medical history to confirm suitability.
